You aren't making sense.
You can criticize Trump for Covid legitimately because Trump made those decisions. We can discuss the dishonesty of the info being fed to him, but he definitely made those decisions. He was in charge. He was running the show.
Biden doesn't run the show. He's a face. I assume you understand this. If not, let me know.
Will Desantis run the show? I don't think so based on what I've seen so far. I think the people behind the scenes who are so clearly influencing how he's campaigning are also going to control how he governs. It's part of the price of all of that money they are delivering to his campaign.

Literally any other Republican would've defeated Hillary, and many of them would've won the Popular Vote. Trump squeaked by in the Electoral College when Hillary won the Popular Vote by 2.1%.
Cruz probably would've been the nominee and he would've won. Kasich and Rubio were destroying Hillary in head-to-head polls. They were beating her by an average of 7 and 4 points respectively.

Your opinions aren't facts. Your claim is that Trump's role was "crucial" in the election. That's not obvious from any of the polling data in the months leading up to the election. He gave him a 10 point bump when he endorsed; that's easy to see. The rest of your claim is just a claim. Maybe it's true, maybe it's not. The data doesn't scream that it is, therefore it's conjecture.
