Why do you think hispanics voted for him? No one hates illegal immigrants more than legal immigrants who waited and worked their asses off to get here.

There should be one unified response from Trump's camp. No arguing or going back and forth when asked...

" The Biden administration violated federal law inviting them to come and enter illegally. Unfortunately, it is our responsibility and duty to right this wrong and that's what we're doing "

Same with abortion:

" Abortion is no longer a federal issue, it's a state issue please redirect your questions to your respective elected state government "

You're saying no?

Many of the illegals currently in the US have relatives and close friend who are US citizens, many of these illegals have been in the US over 10 years. How do you think these MAGA Hispanics will react when someone close to them is rounded up and deported?

This

Also, cracking down on the border and deporting illegals was a big part of his platform. You think the Hispanics that voted for him didn't know that? The ones that immigrated here legally were trying to get away from where they were, they weren't trying to have it follow them here.

Here is a secret that the MSM won't tell you. People that spend the years of time and thousands of dollars to immigrate the legal way, dislike illegal immigrants even more than you do.

Yes I will still vote Republican especially if the democrats do not change course. Also, the people coming now are not the same as they were even 10 years ago. They are coming to live off the government and not work.

I think the ones who voted for Trump knew this was a possibility, even a probability.

My daughter in law is a Mexican and she’s MAGA all the way. My nephew’s wife as well.

There is a bit of resentment from legal immigrants to have gone through everything they’ve gone through to earn citizenship just to watch people walk across the border and not contribute to society.

My grandmother was born in Colombia and worked her way to becoming a bank manager, contributing to society, paying taxes, and living as a devout catholic. She knows more about US history than pretty much anyone who isn’t in a historian-based occupation.

It’s a difficult process and they shouldn’t be able to just waltz in and be given what so many had to earn.

What if I told you that Latino citizens are MORE against illegal immigation than the population at large?

Yup, you're wrong but it's inching closer to being split. Hispanic women were at 38% or so.

Google is showing 47% of Hispanic men voted MAGA in 2024.....that's encouraging.

Yes. The ones who spent years working through the immigration system to get here then to become citizens aren't generally happy with seeing their tax money going towards paying for the left to roll out the red carpet for the immigrants coming here illegally.

You have to break this down.

Mexican-Americans switched huge to pro-Trump after non-Mexican Latinos they don't particularly like flooded the border under the Biden admin.

The variable is going to be how much they see this as a means to deport these non-Mexicans only. Because if they assume this is primarily for the "other" Latino groups, once Mexicans around them (which may include family, friends, etc) start getting deported, we will likely see this demo flip.

Yep! Get ready for the headlines. We're about to see children & babies with momma's crying behind chain-link fencing at borders. Detention centers processing the scourge out of the US while "family members" cry and wail that their "loved ones" are being forced back to their hellish country of origin.

I work with a ton of Latinos. They all love Trump for many reasons. Deportations of illegals will not change their mind.

However, touching anchor babies might, as many many many of them were anchor babies and the reason they can vote. If he gets rid of that, you might have a problem

Who says the illegals can't return and follow the process of becoming a US citizen just like their legal US citizen relatives?
