If the Dems will steal 2024 and have '24 in the bag why is Marc Elias acting like this?

Donald Trump’s Plot Against America

quote:

Donald Trump is plotting to overthrow American democracy. It is not a secret, and he is not subtle. The only question is whether enough people will care enough to stop it.

Trump is not hiding his intentions for a second term. Echoing Hitler’s rise to power, he has called his political enemies “vermin” and promised his supporters that, if elected, he would be their “retribution.”

Trump’s enablers have outlined a plan for him to replace tens of thousands of career civil servants with MAGA loyalists and to take personal control of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to prosecute his political rivals. He is almost certain to use an old law — the Insurrection Act — to convert the military into his personal domestic police force.

Since his power comes from a bottomless capacity to lie, he has contempt for the free press, which he calls the “enemy of the people.” He recently suggested that the government should censor or shut down media platforms he dislikes.

His most brazen attacks on democracy manifested in the aftermath of 2020. Since his loss to President Joe Biden, Trump has advocated for discarding lawful ballots, tampering with election certification and throwing out entire states’ results.

For a guy that has no chance, so much panic between the lines of this article.

The fact that this guy, of all people, cannot sense the irony in this paragraph speaks volumes about his intelligence, or perhaps lack thereof.

Once again the premise is proven correct, Dems accuse others of wrong doing they themselves are doing.
They are blissfully ignorant thinking things will continue going their way. The further left Dems push their insane ideas, the further right things will rebound when the time arrives. What comes around goes around, it's a given. A natural law just as much as gravity.

He is well aware of the irony. This is textbook information control.

No they are setting the table for their base so that when they have to do things they would accuse Trump of being a dictator for the left can rationalize it as ok because of the "existential threat" he poses.

Think about the Time article outlining how Tech, DC and the media all stole the 2020 election but that it was a good thing because "Literally Hitler". That was the autopsy report for what they ended up doing (among a number of other things they didn't want to hit the media yet).

This is just establishing justification for lawfare, electioneering and whatever else they want to later rationalize to maintain their own power in 2024.

Marching orders is the correct answer.

Every last tard on the left is saying the same thing, including Liz "I was about to be embarrassed so I bowed out of my race" Cheney.

Manchin said the same yesterday. Yea totally not coordinated

The Dems party need to be reformed by Congress and Supreme Court who are the only ones who can bend them back to good government by laws checking the beaurocrats illegal power.

I personally believe he left Perkins Coie to continue his election (boots on the groud) role in order to take the spot light off P&C. That's the lawfirm that launders all the DNC cash to people like Steele for the dossier as well as cash to all the NGOs that are the shell orgs on the frontline of the culture war we are in the midst of. Elias is one of their foot soldiers who's role is to keep weakening election laws.
