They do not elect a Pres/VP in the Dem Primary - they sandbag the contest and select one. They select the moron they can control and that includes the Vice Moron. They did exactly what they intended to do. The person running Biden's teleprompter will run Harris's teleprompter. Apart from the cackling, the speechs and policies will not change.

For the Dems, she had the only qualifications they were looking for. Competency and ability were the last two qualifications they were looking at.

They picked Kamala as VP to justify black votes, and to give her the Teddy Roosevelt treatment. They wanted to shut her up and shelve her in a dead end job.
