Oh, I'm not beholden to a particular model.

Well the standard is gtap. It's not perfect. This is adjusted gtap model to make these numbers up.

CPA GTAP is arguably a more accurate tool for analyzing economic impact of trade policy, along with the associated impact of tariffs though. It demonstrates that, rather than doom and gloom, tariffs can have positive effects on the economy, including increased GDP, wages, and employment.

The issue at hand though is it's conclusion of expanded manufacturing isn't upheld by the supporting survey they provide as evidence. Example fertilizer receives a 10% tarrifs. This model takes credit for the increase in fertilizer production but doesn't account for offset in downstream industries that use fertilizer. Which overall has a negative impact even if a some new fertilizer jobs are created it's just a shuffle of the cards as other places will hurt more.

Here you go, dummy:

1 Timothy 6
quote:

13I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony befored Pontius Pilate made the good confession, 14to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ

You follow a false religion, a religion of a fake Paul writing to a fake Timothy describing how their Jesus would come in Timothy’s lifetime.

I don’t know if you have enough IQ points to attempt this, but it could be possible that with enough thought, you could be a conservative pro-freedom pro-constitution limited government atheist ultra MAGA like me.

The key to Tariffs is they take time to become impactful for everyone across all industries

This is true. Some of the tariffs from Trumps first term hit our industry right away. One of them is just finally hitting. Much of what tariffs will effect are not necessities like food. People can choose not to buy the product affected.

They put $50 into massaging seats and charge $5k for the "package". There is the problem needed to correct.

He imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum. While no you can’t eat steel or aluminum they are used in the production and distribution of food. Supply chains can be super complicated and the government messing around with doing big government sh!t it’s easy to have plenty of unintended ripple effects.

So if you turn your keyboard over it says "Made in the US", as do your shoes and the rest of the clothes you're wearing.

Right.

Price inflation is only a problem when democrats cause it. Gotcha

If tariffs cause inflation why didn’t it cause it during Trumps first term?

I’ll wait and listen…
