The third temple WILL be rebuilt. When and how are the only questions.
if this is the case , you forgot “Where” as their spot is currently occupied.

It would have to be built on the same spot, and would certainly result in a global war.

Whenever I hear someone talking about us living in the end times, I generally ignore them, knowing the Temple must be rebuilt first.

None of us is likely to see a third temple in our lifetimes.

Will American Christians (true Christians not dispensationalists) demand the US go to war against Israel?

Building a 3rd temple is an affront to Christianity and will be dedicated to their deity, who some think could be the biblical Anti-Christ

This is silly.

Israel is going to do whatever they believe is best for them and they will do it to the extent that they believe they can get away with it.

This is idiotic. The Bible clearly states the temple will be built, and that this is a harbinger of the end times. The only non arabic country that attacks Israel in those times is a northern slavic country, i.e. Russia.

Read your Bible.
Where does the Bible state the temple will be rebuilt? There are OT prophecies that speak to the temple that premils interpret as literal that would require a rebuilt temple for them, but it doesn’t say the temple will be rebuilt.

For Amils and Postmils who read the same Bible, we don’t believe the temple needs to be rebuilt. It would also be blasphemous, given that Christ is the once-for-all sacrifice for Jews and Gentiles to be received by faith.

I see 2 Thes 2:4 as representative of the Church, not a rebuilt temple.

Americans that hate Israel so earnestly and openly, right here amongst us even, are welcome to make their way over to Hamas or Hezbollah territory, or Iran, and join their brothers in arms against their mutual mortal enemy. Like they like to say to everyone else, put your money where your mouth is.

That doesn’t even make sense. No one on here is cheering for Iran or Hamas. Why we despise Israel is because they literally buy and sell our politicians. No one spends more on elections than the pro-Israel lobby. When they’re not doing that, they’re blackmailing our politicians, sending their central bankers here, manufacturing war propaganda for Americans, and sapping taxpayer money so they can continue to stir up mischief in the region. Frankly, after they attacked the USS Liberty and our soldiers in the 1960s, we should have never given them another dime.

It’s crazy how many Americans buy into two different falsehoods - that Israel is our greatest ally, and that the modern secular state of Israel is God’s chosen people. Israel doesn’t need our help. We need to get out of their way and they need to get out of ours.

No, it doesn’t make sense when you include the notion of “cheering for Iran or Hamas.” Which I clearly didn’t mention anything about “cheering.” The point was mutual fury and hatred towards Israel. Same concept as the situation when some Americans (including some amongst us here) were vigorously protesting Israel at the exact same time Hamas sympathizers were doing so out in the streets. Mutual interests, apparently. Thus the suggestion to team up and physically go arm in arm instead of just rhetorically.
