I was just generalizing that region without having to break into 4-5 different tribes or into Arabs vs Persians( makes for a real good idea of a reality show) just to get the point of those are some vicious people who have been fighting for millenniums and enjoy it

Your question is so callow and ill-defined that it defies any meaningful response. There have been cultural and nationalistic conflicts in the region for centuries that are unrelated to religion. Research the life and experiences of of T..E
Lawrence for a small flavor of those conflicts...

Why have Christian nations gone to war?
I do not defend Islam. It is an ancient religion that arose within a particular culture.

It has been exploited and used for political power for centuries and certainly in recent decades, the response to the displacement of Palestinian populations being an example.

The extreme fundamentalist version of Islam is certainly antithetical to our western values...

Part of it stems from British geopolitical philosophy. Great Britain being separated from the rest of Europe by the English Channel protected their interests by playing continental powers off of each other. They would frequently support the second strongest country in a conflict against the strongest country to manipulate nations into fighting each other, leaving the English alone, often profiting off the war.

This tactic was frequently used during colonialism where the English would carve up a territory to purposefully include multiple different tribes, ethnicities, or religions/language groups, empower the second largest group as the ruling class, and then use the conflicts between the different groups to make English the language franca and the Colonial government the arbiter of disputes.

Not only that, but they would carve up their colonies to separate resources from one another so that colonies would be dependent upon Great Britain to survive and would not be sustainable independent from the Empire. The British did this purposely to keep colonies from uniting into successful nation states as the Americans had done (despite our own shitty internal borders).

Saying any religion has been peaceful throughout history is like saying America was a peaceful lovely place before the arrival of Europeans. Both statements are extremely false.
