Can I be refused service, or is that religious discrimination? Can my work still force me to wear it in the building? After all, not wearing a mask would be a huge personal sacrifice in terms of the spirit of lent.

Your 1st Amendment religious rights should not be violated.

This needs to be a national movement.

Honestly, that's brilliant. I should try that.

1stAmendment right is freedom of speech and freedom to practice your religious beliefs.
IF it goes to court, it depends on what type of judge hears the case.

It is very Eurocentric to assume my mouth and nose are on my face. Mine are in my pocket, or maybe in the console of my truck, but also possibly on the counter at home.

Either way, if you contract COVID19 you should be ok. Biden promised free “badakathcare”

May test this out. Already having folks in the office being passive aggressive about me not washing my hands every time I enter the building.

I mean sure bud, but just remember...whoever sows to please their flesh, from their flesh will reap destruction (Galatians 6:6-10)

Lent is a time of sacrifice for us to remember. This is like saying “I give up eating things besides steak and whiskey”

So...if you spank it you go to hell?

Asking for a friend.

If you gave up pants for lent would you be refused service? What a dumb question.

According to this...yes...

I think spanking it is less severe than using the Lord to deceive your neighbors, but to each their own

If I can go to hell for eating the bacon egg and cheese biscuit I just had for breakfast, then I'm already one foot in hell based on the litany of other things I've done in comparison.

"not eating meat on friday" serves no purpose other than to inconvenience me with no other intrinsic value. It is little more than another way the catholic church tries to exert control over your life.

If you are a good person at heart, have a burger for lunch today. If you go to hell for it, then the god you serve is a piece of shite and not worthy of worship anyway

Nope, you get no protection from the Constitution because then you would obviously be catholic. Some religions are more equal than others.
