GroomerHank’s “6’5 250 lb football playing, cattle ranching dad” must be so fricking embarrassed

said that a drag show is "like burlesque," but I certainly did not make fun of it.

1.

an absurd or comically exaggerated imitation of something, especially in a literary or dramatic work; a parody.

So if the dragoons ( this is what us gays call them) want acceptance of their lifestyle why would they make fun of it by doing burlesque...

What I'm pointing out is you are taking both sides and arguing both points of view. Can't be wrong when you pick all sides can you.

Seeing as how you admit you will go snitch I would like to say this is all my opinion and is not meant to trigger an emotional outburst. I do not know Aggiehank personally and am just posting my opinion.

True enough. But it was uncalled for, and I have no other available avenue for addressing it.

I really cannot believe I'm having to tell a grown man this but you do have another option. You can ignore him. If you know you are not what he allegedly called you then you don't need to address it. Ignore him.

You are right, and I was wrong. I was saying and typing "burlesque" while I was thinking about vaudeville. Pure brain fart.

I certainly understand what you are saying, but I don't think you have ever had a TD stalker. When one of these gadflies attaches himself to you, it becomes impossible to participate in any thread, because he IS going to appear and bollix the discussion. Ignoring never works.

Aggiehank it's no big deal. I'm wrong as much as I'm right.

As far as needed to address the poster that called you things you can simply ignore them.

You have the ability to be a great poster and bring knowledge with it. Be better.

I honestly don't know if you are trolling or what, but "I hope not" as far as the muscle memory thing goes. Hitting people is a piss-poor way of resolving interpersonal conflict.

With a purpose.

Every performance you've ever witnessed had a purpose. Do you think you're being illuminating?

I've had a serial dv'er follow me around for the last couple of years. Me, Carolina Girl and Lonnie Utah have had the same stalker and we just ignore them.
Please tell me exactly what can a stalker on a forum that you will never meet do to you in real life.

I appreciate that. The thing is that I have no problem at all admitting when I am just wrong about something, with the burlesque/vaudeville thing being a perfect example.

My reputation here for hard-headedness arises from opinions, not factual errors. I readily admit that my opinions are hard to change, precisely because I do so much research before allowing them to form.

I have changed my opinion a couple of times here, always because someone presented solid evidence and a cogent argument. Never because someone parroted talking points and hurled expletives.

Real life? Nothing, obviously.

Personality flaw, but I have real trouble NOT responding to absolute horseshite. It is why I end up spending so many posts on a thread like this. For some reason, I feel compelled to answer all questions presented to me, rather than just ignoring the stupid and uninteresting ones (like the ones from the stalkers).

I should probably work on that (//endintrospection//)

I have the exact same issue or at least did. I've reached in age where I've learned not to give a crap. Type it out then read it back before you hit that submit button and ask yourself is it worth it.

It also serves as a great deflection from such things as your misinterpretation of the term "groomer", impact of normalized transsexualism (aka Drag Story Hours) on ROGD, etc.

And this is why you and I will NEVER get along. I showed you the correct use of the term, and I showed you WHY it is the correct use, but you continue to insist upon YOUR (erroneous) use because that usage works better to advance your narrative. It is the equivalent of Troy insisting that SCOTUS rulings are irrelevant because they are inconsistent with his (non-existent) legal knowledge.

And you see me as the problem because I will not ignore objective fact and accept your preferred definitions.

you posted a chart. I told you that it was off topic on this thread and I did not have time for it. What do you want? You REALLY seem to want to discuss ROGD. It looks like an interesting topic, but I DID NOT HAVE TIME. I am sorry that I was not able to cater to your pet topic earlier today.

How about this. Please post some peer-reviewed information about how Story Time has influenced ROGD, and I will take a look at it.

How's that?

That's funny, because you have no problem ignoring three of your own quotes that contradict each other. I think you prefer to respond to people who just flame you instead of those who point out your bullshite.
