I already have. Regardless of merit you can’t give in to Trump when he’s holding 800k people’s livelihoods hostage or he’ll just do this over and over again. You can compromise but it can’t be for the full 5.7.

You are really delusional. Trump is offering a compromise. Your side is going to flat out reject it. Why is that?

What exactly does your side want? The more you peel back the onion, the more you see, they only want Trump to fail. Nothing else matters. Especially you, cold drink. Your democratic masters LITERALLY don't care about you, or your country. They care about power. White libs like you are the pawns of this chess game. Happily moving forward to be sacrificed by your leaders.

Spend some time off of facebook and on other channels besides CNN.

Additionally, frick off. White libs, the first in human history to actively try and create a worse life for their offspring.

If I worked for an employer and that employer shut down, I wouldn’t say the employer was holding me hostage. I’d get another job.

How is it fake? Do you believe he will reneg on it if the Marxists accept it?

Leftists ought to be careful what they wish for...If you reject this compromise, he will declare an emergency, build the wall and lay-off all the bureaucrats about whom your mouthpieces in the media claim you care. Trumps base of real Americans really dont want him to give you what he said he would give you, so we are all praying your TDS keeps you all reflexively resisting everything just because Orange Man bad

5.7 is the compromised number.....I can't wait til he goes national emergency for the whole 20 bil and constructs a beautiful concrete wall with anti tunnel pylons.

Except he proudly shut it all down.

This is like saying if you once slept with a man AND NOW IN THE LIGHT of day want you to change the tale.... it won't ever change the fact.

WTF?? Did he not state over and over a again that Mexico would pay for the wall. Fact. Now that his base of "real Americans" has been lied to, this base of so-called "real Americans" wish to change the narrative. This entire shutdown, the entire wall ordeal, the entire so-called crisis is simply all tied into one neat little lie. If dotard had not lied about Mexico paying for the wall, this would not be an issue. It all boils down to the fact that you simply cannot trust a weasel.

Easy. There have been several offers by each side. The cause of and responsibility for the shutdown doesn’t pass like a tennis ball with each offer. Trump said he was going to shut it down and he did.

Hell they rejected “it” before they knew what “it” was. The dems are being shown for what they are and at every turn play right into Trumps hands.

It’s like they want him to win re-election. Next thing you know their nominee is going to be Mondale part 2.

Their only defense is to scream louder and louder without substance and to attack people who dare to have a different view. Even if that view is just a different shade of liberalism.

Trump said he'll own the shutdown though. So hard keeping track of which of his statements he actually means. Usually he doesn't know if he meant his words until he hears what Ann Coulter has to say about them. Must be frustrating for the folks who love how he tells it like it is.

While I sympathize for the federal workers financial situation, it's crazy for that to be the priority here. The federal government's role and purpose is not to employ people.

It's less than 1/2 of 1 percent of the yearly budget for an issue that the president ran on. It's a very reasonable request to fulfill for congress to pass its budget.

You guys who think the democrats aren't going to lose this PR battle are ridiculously naive, IMO.

After that arse whooping in the midterms you really can't fathom that maybe more people are sympathetic with the Dems here?

Agreed. Trump made a reasonable proposal. At a MINIMUM, it was a good starting point and deserved a reasonable counter.

Good Trump.
