It's just a dog whistle for them to sky scream.

Exactly, that list sounds like the children of Boomers lives

For clarity, I don’t think all boomers are anything. I think I used to be a pawn in the generation wars but I’ve evolved. Most people are just doing the best they can. Sometimes people get lucky and sometimes they are unlucky. It’s the chaos of life.

Boomers may have certain commonalities but that doesn’t make them all good or bad.

Seems like they can but that doesn’t mean both are true at the same time. Maybe neither is true?

Good for you!

True. Such is the weakness of stereotypic application to individuals.

Why do boomers complain so much about participation trophies when they’re the ones that started it for their kids?

They do nothing but bitch and moan about the generations they themselves raised. It’s a direct reflection of you.

Legit question.
After reflecting on the "participation trophy" issue, my recollection is it was predominately a post-9-11 thing, which would put it late in the boomer game, if at all. Now that may be mistaken, but TTBOMK it isn't.

But then they tried to give their kids a better life than they had AND ended up f ing everything up!

they didn't know that the kids growing up these days are soft and lazy af, always wanting the easy way out, and want what they want now, but are not willing to put in the work. Bottom line, their kids are worthless, spoiled, lazy, and want handouts.

I have no idea what the author means by boredom was encouraged. My boomer parents weren’t encouraged to be bored and they didn’t encourage me to be bored. They said entertain yourself if you are bored.

Otherwise the list is good.
