Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.” -Romans 1:21-23

Sadly, Buddy D died before the Saints made the Super Bowl, but Bobby Hebert honored his promise for him.

If I remember correctly, Buddy D would refer to callers who were saying foolish things, as squirrels.

Yep

I have friend who has a transgender son to female.
Your story is somewhat relatable to some of us.

My daughter has a transgender friend she goes to church with. Very conservative church but they kind of, err, "don't address" the issue...

Her friend is obviously a lesbian but has watched enough TV to convince herself that she is a "he". She even had a big crush on my daughter at one point. They're 15 and my daughter diffused that situation far more politely and effectively than I ever could.

But in short, this "boy", even with the support of "his" parents, family, friends, school, doctors and community overall- still has emotional and anger issues...

I mean, whoda thunk that giving a 15 year old girl testosterone injections, letting her wear boys clothes and identity as such, giving her 20+ hours a week of school, church and private "counseling" and "emotional support", and outright going right along with the delusion that she is biologically something that she is not???... whoda thunk that would still result in a kid that struggles even more now with suicidal thoughts and uncontrollable and unprovoked anger ebullitions?

Even in a VERY conservative community and a VERY conservative school and church, people are allowing this. They're afraid to "rock the boat" and upset others who might be offended... so they deny the truth and simultaneously ignore an obvious mental health issue.

They all have failed this girl and although I pray that divine intervention will correct the situation, I don't think this girl will live beyond her college years if even that long.

You post that on the OT and you'll get at least 25% doenvotes b/c you are "insensitive ".

You're speaking fact, as basic as it can be, but idiots (mostly younger, let's be honest) are buying into the new, twisted way of "logic".

Yeah. It eventually reached a point where his callers would just as often throw it back at him.

Regardless, it was the first thing that came to mind for me in a discussion involving men, dresses, and squirrels.

Well, 1st of all, if he were in a squirrel suit he could have glided to safety.

I was watching an old episode of Law and Order, and in it, this young jr. high aged boy is getting dressed, puts on makeup and a dress, tells his parents goodbye and heads off. He ends up in Central Park, a group of young black boys tease him, push him off a bridge, and the young man ultimately dies.
Throughout the episode, the cops on the case continue to refer to the boy as a she and of course, the episode glamorizes the boy and paints him as a hero. The boys are charged with a hate crime and convicted.
It made me wonder, how did we go so quickly from a few years ago when gays weren’t allowed to marry, to calling boys in dresses, women?
Certainly, if the same boy had been wearing a a squirrel suit, the cops wouldn’t have described him in their reports as a squirrel, but instead, a boy in a squirrel costume.
We are being dragged down a very dangerous path.
excellent analogy. very funny.
anticipate reading the responses. love it.

The way I understand this, as a male, if I "feel" I have a "female" brain, but was born in the wrong body that has a weiner/Y chromosone, I can claim "I am a woman" free of scientific proof and should be able to dress in traditional female fashion free of hate/discrimination. "The doctors got it wrong", and the words "male/female" are simply "social constructs" or labels coined by the bigoted/sexist majority.

But does traditional female clothing make a gender? No. A lesbian can wear a buzz-cut, flannel shirt, jeans and Timberland boots and still like pussy. I should be allowed to also wear a buzz cut, flannel shirt, jeans, Timberland boots, claim I have a female brain who likes pussy, and use the same ladies bathroom with your daughters & wife.

Now I can make my own social constructs and call myself a lesbian that you better not challenge my identity or else I will sue you for discrimination.

Is that about right?

The entire transgender situation is leading to many convoluted circumstances and has already pitted itself against the rights of biological women. It’s only going to get worse as people explore every iteration of this unnatural and unholy abomination.

Ummm, that would be a big NO. Although his son is a weirdo, he is laying the pipe to his fiance, who really isnt a lesbian, because shes loving the piping and marrying a man

You must know nothing about Cal.

If he says he is a squirrel he IS a squirrel.

No costume needed.
