You can't let something like that get in the way of sending a misinformation tweet so the masses can lap it up without any proof or verification.
AND I got 12 downvotes for pointing out the objective truth. I thought we were on the side of truth.
Conservatives who protect lies hurt our cause.

Are we supposed to believe H1-B? These guys are some kind of Venezuelan electric car specialists?
Do you believe everything you read?
These people were NOT working on cars. They were building the car plant.

I guess I will take Hyundai off of my list for a future auto.

so, what kind of visa do they have?

I don't know anything about the situation other than what's in the OP and tweets. But that contains some obvious mistakes. Why did you ask if they had H1-Bs?
I don't doubt that there are illegal aliens at the CONSTRUCTION site, but there is ZERO evidence of illegals making EVs for Hyundai.

Coming from Venezuel, they probably only have Temporary Protection Status.

Hyundai was doing child labor in Alabama. These South Koreans companies are depraved.

That plant isn’t open yet. Still under construction, plus it’s a battery plant, not a car manufacturing plant.
Battery plant is in Cartersville, not Rome, and the car plant is outside Savannah.

Get outta here with your fancy facts!!! We want to hate based on the facts we make up...rather than actual facts which are damning enough.

Bringing in illegal workers and working children is bad regardless of what job they're doing for Hyundai in my opinion.
Hyundai doesn't respect our laws and they don't respect their customers not getting their vehicles stolen either.
I'll never buy another one of these vehicles.

Their car plant just across the line from Alabama in Georgia on I-85 is run mainly with temps. If it has illegals, those will technically be the temp company's employees. Some of their Korean supplier plants in Alabama were raided a few weeks ago and the one next door to us had a number of illegals in it. The ones that got out before getting rounded up have been knocking on our doors looking for work the past two weeks. I just tell them we aren't hiring and send them on their way. Our temp agency has them lined up each morning and says that several who failed E-Verify a few years ago are passing now but I've instructed them not to send any of those to our plants.

Now THAT is a factual criticism as opposed to this thread. Thanks.
"In 2022, car manufacturing company Hyundai and its parts suppliers in Alabama, U.S. were found to be illegally employing children to operate heavy equipment. Most of these children were refugees from Central America, some of whom were put to work against threat of deportation."

Can’t get past why people working is the place people think we should frick with.
I guess some folks are disconnected from the reality of who, especially in the SE, has done 80%+ of all construction and labor based manufacturing.
Outside of caveman chest thumping, explain how this helps any of us?
Reality is most of these people have social security taken out and never collect, they don’t file unemployment or even workers comp claims, many go to doctors they are from their country and not clinics. Most have taxes taken out but don’t file (get money back).
The biggest issue is for the last 20-30 years we have let them in and avoided a legal way for them to be here and work, yet we have absolutely depended on them.
There is nobody in this country to replace this skill set. Simple as that.
