ICE Agent Shot in California

He was off duty. Allegedly he was drunk and had fallen asleep on a residential lawn. 72 y.o. homeowner confronted him. Fight ensued.
Homeowner shot ICE agent. ICE agent in custody of Fresno P.D. Homeowner not charged.
Homeowner shot ICE agent. ICE agent in custody of Fresno P.D. Homeowner not charged.

-Are the number of shootings done by ICE related to actual threats they face? This was the first shooting of an ICE agent I could find. (Maybe I missed some.)
-Screening and supervision of ICE agents. Are they as good as other LEO...or did ICE hire some mall cops?

That might be a good point, but, apparently he was awake for the part when he (allegedly) assaulted the 72 y.o. and the daughter.

I doubt Trump hired him, but maybe you're right.
I have never said I agree with Trump's "actions." I mostly agree with his policies (can't think of any I disagree with...but just to be safe). I frequently disagree with execution of those policies...which is rarely attributable to Trump.
I agree we needed more ICE agents (policy). I'm not sure Noem and Mullins were good choices (execution) as DHS Secretaries.

Seemed like it was a pretty clean shoot by Gramps. Fresno PD is treating it as such.

Drunk guy does drunk guy stuff, happens to be off duty ICE agent, Billmatt is once again pretending he isn't biased while trying to use drunk guy things to frame all of ICE as dangerous.
If you want to go ahead and look up the number of ICE encounters per year and run that number against which ones involve shootings, you can even include the ones that are fully justified self defense it that makes you feel better, I think you may run into something along the lines of 'nearly microscopic' being the best descriptor - in comparison to the volume of people they interact with everyday.
But, here you are, again, trying to convince yourself you don't have a predetermined conclusion.
