I wish someone would ask the following question every day until people are sick of it

"Can you explain to the American people exactly what is THE "Threat to Democracy?"
I keep hearing this fricking term thrown around like pancakes, but what in the actual frick is the threat to democracy?
They throw this term around just as much as the "Racist" term
We need to demand that they give us 5 legit examples of being a threat to democracy
- Require voter ID? - That's NOT a threat to democracy
- Protecting Gun Rights? That's NOT a threat to democracy
- Protecting Freedom of speech? That's NOT a threat to democracy
- Secure and protect the border? That's NOT a threat to democracy
- Staying out of wars? That's NOT a threat to democracy
- Allowing police to do their jobs? That's NOT a threat to democracy
- Not wanting to spend money on Climate change bullshite? That's NOT a threat to democracy
- Stop sending money to every fricking inch of the planet to people that hate us? That's NOT a threat to democracy
WHAT THE frick IS THE ACTUAL THREAT TO DEMOCRACY THAT I HEAR THEM SAY IN EVERY OTHER frickING SENTENCE?

I wish Republicans really were a threat to democracy. Democracy is not virtuous. The Founders had it right - only landowners should vote, and state legislatures should select representatives to Congress

I do not believe that crap at all.
The best I can come up with to try to validate that claim is that Trump really admires autocratic leaders and countries and has opined that the U.S. would be better if we had a more powerful President.

At least when Trump says that Biden is a threat to democracy, he actually gives legit examples as to why he is a threat to democracy

For starters it has nothing to do with “Democracy”.
We’re in the way of full control. Anything obstructing that complete and total takeover is a threat. “Democracy” is just a cover because they cannot openly say “we will dictate all aspects of your life from cradle to grave”. Not until they have full control that is. That’s when the mask comes off. See California, NY or Illinois for living breathing examples.

It's not a threat to democracy. It is a threat to "our democracy."

With the current re-defining of words. Seems to me that those on the left now define "democracy" as "democrats permanently in charge". Trump is definitely a threat to that definition of "democracy".
