When this thing started, and we didn't know what it was, I did not know what to think. Maybe shutting down was the best option.

But the second the videos of the TikTok nurses started coming out was the time that we should have started fighting against these mandates. I'm not sure we will recover from what we have done to our economy, mental health, and trust in our institutions.

I have started to question everything.

You know they all put out their own "A hero lives here" signs in their own front yards

We thought about putting one up in our yard as a joke since the teachers in our cul-de-sac all put one out.

Most nurses, doctors, and hospitals have all done incalculable damage to their pre covid reputations

Lost lots of respect for medical professionals. Sorry but working during covid does not make you a "hero"

There are several doctors and nurses that i know and know of that were and still are ALL IN on facemasks and vaccines for EVERYONE. They are too stupid to admit they were dead wrong, and are continuing their failed narrative.

They single handedly destroyed the faith people had in healthcare professionals.

Recall early in the pandemic, NYC nurses claimed they were out of PPE so they donned garbage bags. Fun times.

Nope. This was never the best option. Shutting it down and masking up has never worked ever in the history of mankind. The motivation to do so had NOTHING to do with the 'pandemic' and everything to do with the election. FACT.

Not all of us think that way.
I'm against mask mandates. My kids don't wear them to school. I don't wear them unless required. I've had COVID twice. Been vaccinated but not boosted. Have been against the shut downs since day 1.
But it's still overall worse than the flu.

I don't think the consequences of coronavirus/the pandemics have even begun yet. It'll probably take a few more months to a year to even see what impact the lockdown and all this other nonsense truly will have on our economy and society.

I mean it’s apparent everywhere if you look. I agree that it will only get worse in coming months and probably years, though.

Correct, I should rephrase by saying the true extent of its impact. There's a lot of things likely to come in the near future.
