Roger the Cuck is no longer a tour guide. He said Tariffs ruined the business

Tariffs are only bad when the US does them.
Simple, see?

No we need to.cut the welfare and make those people work.
If they don't work they starve and have no home.

We have to address our ridiculous, and counter productive minimum wage
Agreed. We need to get rid of it, altogether.

On the PBD podcast yesterday, tariffs were discussed and PBD discussed several positive results the US has already seen by way of companies investing in manufacturing their products in the US rather than abroad.
He also displays and discusses some eye opening charts that track the number of middle class American jobs lost in several states that once were strong manufacturing states and the impact of allowing China to participate join the World Trade Organization during Clintons presidency. Its astounding to see the data. As companies and corporations moved manufacturing to China, it absolutely gutted the once middle class workers here in the US.

There are plenty of Americans willing to “do”. Just have to get them off of mail box money and they will be ready to work in a swiftness.
Agreed, but is that possible?
What you suggest solves everything: Drug addiction, declining birthrates, immigration, education - almost all of our major problems would be solved by getting rid of the mailbox money, as you put it.

The same reason the rest of the western world also places all kinds of other regulations and artificial barriers to free trade.
Its not really "free trade" when America allows itself to be taken advantage of by other countries unfair trade practices. Thise unfair trade practices were fine post WW II when America was helping Europe and Japan rebuild themselves.
We live in a different time today and America can no longer prop up other countries at our expense.

The rest of the world has been sucking on the American tit for a century.
We finally have a president who is ready to wean them.

True minimum wage is zero. Once you understand that, everything else clicks.

Mailbox money isn’t likely going away.
Besides, We have generations of people that are misaligned in the meaning of production.
I’m not speaking on theory. It’s real world.
People would rather risk their lives selling drugs than work at a menial paying job like picking strawberries or a retail outlet.
It’s not going to change in the short window we have to make such a monumental change.
