It would be quite telling how much support he continued to get and from whom, as well as the number/percentage of votes he ultimately received.

They are backing away from it now because it is only getting worse from here and they had to make a decision to shite or get off the pot with him.
I hope he sticks around so they can tie this guy to every other Dem candidate out there.

The Dems are by the day becoming more open to violent means to assert political dominance. The Charlie Kirk thing proved it. The Dems believe ‘he had it coming’ and MAGA knows how they feel. Same with the assassin of the Healthcare CEO. Platner represents the kind of warrior mentality that they imagine in their future leadership. They neglected the fact that he is a sexual psychopath.
Most all Republicans haven’t taken that leap, for conscience sake and common sense knowing what pain that will bring. Though the fringes like Royce White are speaking out. But deep down we all know that we are facing an inevitable and violent showdown. That is why everyone is on edge.

They will replace him. Didn't he suspend events or his campaign. Schumer is even not behind him. They are not dumb enough to hang onto him in a tight race.
