I think a lot of Republicans have just grown tired of Trump’s crap.

I am in that camp probably. All the self-adulation was funny in the beginning, but now it has grown stale. Putting gold accents all over the Oval Office? WTF is that about. Wanting to build monuments to himself in Washington? Really?
Closing the border was his greatest accomplishment. Iran was a mistake. Tariffs are horrible for the economy.
2028 will be interesting. The Republican Party has a massive opportunity in front of it with the rise of the DSA. The right candidate can sell basic American conservative principles — freedom, capitalism, and limited government — to the vast squishy middle who wants nothing to do with socialism. MAGA is no longer the answer.
Fire away. I’m right.

Nope
It's gonna be Vance who is a fiscal progressive

1) I detest Republicans almost as much as I hate Democrats.
2) I need to find a new board. This one is turning to crap.

The tariffs are bad for the economy short term but would be highly beneficial in the long term…..If the manufacturers knew that the Dems wouldn’t discontinue them and sell us out to a foreign entity when they came back into power.

Looks a coordinated piss on Trump attack on this board today.

My favorite part of this board is watching grown men bleed like vaginas over Trump.

Nah. The first step to recovery is acknowledging your problem. You're in denial that you're a loyal colonist.

Yes it is. The board has been overrun with moderate dumbasses who forgot what the border and inflation looked like 4 years ago. But they will remember in a couple of short years

Yeah, I’m thinking about the dozens of media outlets using the “threat to our democracy” line using the exact same words at the same time.
Everybody line up and spout the narrative.

MAGA is no longer the answer.
MAGA principles haven’t changed.
Trump abandoned many of them, so many people have abandoned Trump. Unforced error on his part.
MAGA was around long before Trump and will be around long after.
The R Party leadership can stick with Any War at Any Time in Any Location for Any Duration, but the voters will consistently reject those candidates. Reference Nikki Haley.

You have that right, infested with morons trying to act "concerned" so they can get a shitfest of whining about Trump, just like the media.
This thread is repetitive garbage.

I agree that measured tariffs would be a great idea (where there are real disparities -- there are a lot of them) but this 'off with their head knee-jerk, shitty country who just pissed me off no soup for you, you get 300% tariffed' bs is fricking stupid.

This. Getting to be that Trump was never MAGA, he was just Trump all the way.

The Republican Party is dead after Trump leaves office. It has shown up in every election he isn’t on the ballot.

I'm absolutely no fan of DJT personally BUT I do recognize how historically important his presidency is / will be. I do not think anyone else could have stopped the steady movement to the left. I would have preferred he be kingmaker. Instead, he's destroyed his own legacy with Iran, tariff's, idiotic ai images of himself, strawberry blonde rug he sported in his talk the other night.....
His presidency hopefully now paves the way for a new group of young conservatives to take leadership.. the JD Vance's and the like; very smart, educated conservatives.
