That’s something that is usually saved.
If you truly wrecked your opponent, you want the news cycle to stay on that for as long as possible. You don’t want to change the subject.
Deuces, that is certainly a valid opinion but if you are behind ( and I think she is despite the polls) I'd argue that making a good night great will move the needle more.
She is a horrible leader, speaker, etc. and dangerous, but she held her own tonight and got under his skin which prevented him from being as effective as Vance, Vivek, etc. would have been.

This would tell me despite what pro Dem narrative the MSM will dutifully spin over the next few days, her own early internal polls must be indicating tonight did not move the needle significantly for her in a positive direction.

They are feeling better tonight, and they should. Trump is terrible at this, and I was praying he would keep it together.
I felt this way until the Ukraine question.
Harris seemed rattled a little to me after that and Trump sounded better from then on. Just wished he picked up on it earlier.

Hate to break it to you but believe it’s the opposite reason. Think showing up in the spin room right after the debate is more a sign of damage control.

Nah just kills the Trump narrative that they’ve been parroting for weeks, which is she won’t face tough questions, etc.
The reality is whether you like her or not she is objectively better than him at this. If her team thinks she’s gonna thump him again, and it’s pretty clear they do, this is absolutely the play.

The facts are a Debate against the Mods is going to hurt her with the real people, they can see Trump debated the Mods and Harris, and if they were willing to chest as "Mods" by asking Trump questions that Megan Kelly came off this way, Trump are you sorry for being a POS, and then asked her, how bad a POS do you think Trump is? and if that was their intention, them we all know those slimeballs gave her the questions.
