Hurr durr

quote:

At a time when conservatives are pushing back against a totalitarian, global climate agenda, DeSantis established Florida’s first Chief Resiliency Office to tackle climate change. His first appointee was Julia Nesheiwat, a member of both the World Economic Forum, as well as the Council on Foreign Relations. In addition, DeSantis signed climate resilience legislation that was strongly promoted by left-wing insurance lobby Zurich Advocacy and the World Economic Forum. The same organization was happy to announce its presence at DeSantis’ inauguration. For a guy who likes to rail on Davos, passing Davos-inspired legislation and hiring their people raises some eyebrows.

DeSantis is not a foreigner to the good old boys’ club either, having come up through the Ivy Leagues at Yale and Harvard. He was a standout baseball player at Yale, as was our forty-first President George H.W. Bush, whom their field is named after. DeSantis was also a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity at Yale, just as notable members George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, and Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh were. For a fraternal organization, that’s an impressive list of notable Republican membership.

I support Desantis and Trump. Ron might do some really good things. He may even end up getting even more done than Trump. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out. I just see the left pushing for DeSantis and still are afraid of Trump.

Was DeSantis given the green light to act like Ultra Trump to split the republicans and hopefully derail his nomination? Possibly. I am not wanting to find out the hard way in 2024.

The only 3 candidates I would vote for at this point are Trump, DeSantis, or Paul. If the GOPe hijacks the primary and forces an establishment hack like Romney or Haley than I am sitting it out. Or I would even vote for the most hideous POS the Democrats run just to send a message to the establishment and hopefully crush them. That is the only way a party reform happens or a new party forms.

But Trump IS running.

And Desantis currently isn't.

This is a strange thread.

So does McConnel, Romney, Paul Ryan, Adam Kizenger, Liz Cheney, Bill Barr and the rest of the GOPe.

DeSantis is their controlled boy.

I agree with every single thing you said but I’ll still vote for Trump if he’s the nominee.

I will vote/support whoever gets the R nomination…..there’s only a few faux conservatives that would cause me to not vote in 2024 if they were to somehow get the R nomination….Romney, Cheney, Christie, Kasich….

Trump lost to one of the worst candidates of all time. Trump has completely lost white suburban women. His shrinking voter base means four more years of a Dem president. If the Dems were smart, they would do anything they could to ensure he gets the nomination. They just hate him too much to see clearly.
