Got back libertarian bordering on anarchist types back. They have since learned that if the Rule of Law and the Constitution are a good thing and necessary, then someone has to enforce it.

See, now there's the perfect "open minded" ideological progression.

How old is this "kid?" 23?

It's a complete mystery why he's OK with people getting shite on someone else's dime.

No, he needs to let the kid find his own path, and trust that he has raised him well enough.

Agree. Cut them off 100%

Will be funny when he graduates and you give him 3 months to live with you guys then boot him out. We'll see how fun socialism is after that.

I'm just not sure this is true anymore. It seems to me more likely that the loons come out of these institutions and change the "real" world to their image.

Those shrieking law students we all saw at Stanford in that clip circulating the other day aren't going to have any scales fall from their eyes once they graduate and pass the bar. They are going to shape the law to suit them, to all our detriment.

That's why I qualified it with them becoming a PRODUCTIVE member of society. Yeah, if they're going to suck on the DEI tit, the green energy tit, the slip & fall tit or any other artificially subsidized industry, then they'll stay stupid.

Safe assumption that yall are financially supporting him? Probably banging a college chick who's parents are supporting her?

Try the sink or swim plan. Having to pay for college ensured that socialism was never going to be in my makeup.

Yeah. Let’s get away from what made us the most powerful and successful country in the history of the planet, and go to a system that has killed 70-100 million people.

My kids aren’t even in Highschool and they already understand why that shite doesn’t work.

Relax, he’ll come back around once he starts paying taxes and has children. Those two life moments usually sober people up and bring them back to the middle of the road.

You probably SHOULD have taught your conservative views to your kids, so they were not as easily brainwashed with stupidity... My kids both went in and came out conservative, and are living successful lives as a result.
It's amazing that people still send their kids to college, if this is what the outcome is... Wasted $'s and very little hope for the future.

I think so. They wen't from government has its place, to any and all government sucks and should be abolished, to government being a necessary evil that should be kept as small, decentralized, and unobtrusive as possible.

I was raised in a conservative home and became a liberal in college. I got over it. By age 25 I was back on track. I'm sure he'll be fine

Here's the thing. You send your kids to college, pay for them, and wonder why they feel entitled and graviate toward socialism?

Because they've learned to succeed with hardly any skin in the game. Someone else is taking care of them into adulthood, of course they'll be leftists.

Somewhat disagree, pussy is undefeated by weak "men"

The sad part is he probably isn't getting it yet, just following the liberal bullshite in hopes to get it.
Will end up the one holding her signs at whatever they are protesting when she leaves after an hour to go frick a conservative

Correct. You'll hopefully learn more about human nature as you get older, so you may realize that solutions you thought would work in reality won't. But a core principle, something as simple as personal responsibility, shouldn't "change and develop", or it's not a core principle. It's a fad you believe in for a short time, one that's typically influenced by your surroundings.
