That the surveillance state the warmongering Neocons Bush/Cheney were setting up would eventually be turned on conservatives.
They sneered and snickered at me “you sound like a liberal! What are you one them conspiracy theorists? That’s just to catch them goat herders”

It’s been a rough 20 years for the GOP to say the least. Maybe one day normal working people who just want a government that balances its budget and doesn’t break to many things around the world will have a party.

They tried to pass a version of the patriot act after the okc bombing in 1995 but couldn't get enough support. So they made sure the next attack was bigger and more emotional.
