He is owning these press conferences. And that one reporter came across as a complete douchebag. He deserved for Trump to go off on him.

It's more than one of them. Imo the media, by and large, are not that smart. They don't seem to understand that, in a time of national emergency, Americans have a strong tendency to come together and unite. That's why, for example, we are currently seeing Trump and Newsome working together and being very complimentary of each other, and the same can be said for Trump and Cuomo.
The media runs the distinct risk of mishandling this moment to their own eventual peril.

It's too bad it took a global pandemic for so many people to see past Trump's trolling and personality, and see the true leadership that lies beneath it.
