Oh please.
He’s a libertarian.
You’re a shallow thinker if you fall for this.

While I feel Rand is wrong on this one, he has remained true to his principles. 99% of Washington have none!
While he's a lot of things, I don't think he's a RINO, a rat, or a retard.

How do you think Paul is financially benefiting from his consistent stand for free trade?

He is standing with Democrats. That means there is skin in the game.
What free trade?
What free trade?

Oh look! A Republican that hates taxes and wants to follow the Constitution.

Can't he just happen to agree with them? When Fetterman broke ranks to support some of Trump's nominees was he being paid?

Despite years in office, Senator Rand Paul has little to show in terms of meaningful accomplishments.
Lots of words with Rand, little in real results.

Or more so the question should be, what is he losing due to this? His other senator is highly involved in China and Rand benefits from Republican money. It’s easy for Rand to not participate and claim values while it damages the agenda. Why do you think congress wants to take tariff power away from Trump? They want to control trade and have the leverage.

I never thought Rand Paul would team up with Pocahontas, Mr. Slime, and other miscreants. But here he is.

So you are criticizing him for being consistent and not forsaking his convictions? His opinions on taxes and tariff's have been the same since he came into office.

Personally, I am for the tariffs. The downside to President Trump bypassing Congress, though, is that we never had the national debate about the tariffs.
And wait another 4 years for that? No thanks, talk is cheap and it's time to get shite done.
He's a tick on America's arse.

He's a piece of human excrement

This is why I can't be libertarian and why they piss me off. I agree with a lot of what they support, but then they just go too fricking far and there's no nuance, everything is black and white.

he's never been a conservative or even a republican he's a libtardtarian. the problem he has is that there are 400,000 elected offices in the united states only 55 are held by libtardtarians. so he'd have no political future running as his true self so he pretends to be a conservative republican.
Also, Thomas Massie.

I respect Paul for wanting to have that debate.

No I was just pointing out that he fits the definition of a RINO. He can do all that and stand on his convictions but he can do it outside of the caucus that is trying to work. He takes good money and support away from someone who would be helpful. Nobody is forcing him to be a Republican.
Ppl like you and Rand can’t see the simple fact America just elected Trump to do this. We know you’re dumb but Rand should be able to see that.

In times of crisis, you set things aside and work together to get things done.
This guy acts as if it's business as usual in DC, and that democrats are decent people who aren't trying to topple the US gov't. I had respect for him and Massey, but I don't now. They can't read the room and see that their interests should be set aside for the time being. They need to rally behind Trump because one day, there won't be an America around for him to put on his one man show in Congress.
