Not to jump to drastic conclusions but the fate of both chambers rests with the GOP this coming week in what the decide.
If they don’t grow any balls and let the Dems drown Kav there is no way you can tell me that conservatives will be enthuased to vote in the midterms. Not to mention the Dems will have the go to playbook for any judicial nomination or congressional member going forward.

There's a fundamental flaw in your premise...
The hearing will not take place Thursday.
Ford will come up with a B.S. excuse and/or Dems (with a Flake assist) will demand the other accuser have a hearing...which shockingly will not be Thursday.

I suppose that's possible, assuming one of the RINOs tries to blow it up. Note that I didn't guarantee w/ 100%. Kav needs to be able to speak. Assuming he does, he is going to all but mic-drop.
