I mean, you know that every last one of them was at least somewhat aware. So now the Academy has stripped him of membership.

Woo Hoo. NOW they'll claim to not tolerate such behavior? LOL. Of course they tolerated it. Hell, the rewarded it!

It just seems to me that journalists worth as shite would call them out on this.

He isn't being fired or removed due to his behavior. They were perfectly OK with his behavior.

He's simply being removed because it's embarrassing now.

I agree with you. The liberal media will now virtue signal about how brave Hollywood is for turning on Weinstein after pretending to not know for decades.

We just have to keep pointing that out. Don't let them pretend they are heroes.

Absolutely - this 'rejection' is just all so silly.

Unless it comes out with a full fledged apology demonstrated by naming of names and kicking out prime enablers and asking for eternal investigation to root out all the depraved individuals, retraction of Oscars, prohibition of political involvement, and subjection to constant DOJ supervision = much like the feds imposing continuing controls on certain states' voting processes.

I doubt such would be easy to find in Hollywood

Now this billion dollar industry will use the time honored plan:
1. What are you babbling about.
2. They do it too.
3. OMG this is terrible we will make sure such behaviors never happen again.
4. OK we have done more on this issue than anyone in history its time to move on.
5. Hey its Oscar time did you hear what so an so said?

we need a cultural revolution in this country. The democratization of art afforded by the internet cannot come soon enough.

Smug hollyweirdos can all die in a fire.

I'm starting to think the FBI started the conversation to draw attention away from their mishandling of the Vegas shootings. Notice how that conversation has taken a backseat to this conversation?

Basically. If Hollywood elitists actually cared about his behavior, they would have called him out a long time ago. The fact of the matter is, word got out to the public and it created a shite storm they couldn't beat down. So, they saved face and put Weinstein on blast. I'm not defending him in the slightest. He's a piece of shite. But those virtue signaling loser need to look in the mirror for a long, good while until they realize they are part of the problem.

No. That's not the point.

The point is, someone in the friggin press should say, "yeah, that's great.........tell us why you didn't do this ages ago"

or, perhaps a little bit of mea culpa on their part would be in order. Instead, it's a pretense. They're pretending that his behavior is unacceptable to them which is demonstrably false.

Starting a conversation is very dear to libtards, they always restate that a conversation needs to be started, even while they happen to be conversating.

They aren't "part" of the problem. They ARE the problem.

People like HW exist. They always will.

They can only flourish when in an environment that accepts and feeds them exists.

I think we as a society give them way too much credibility. A bunch of people who live a glamorous lifestyle for no real reason. Sure they can sing, act, dance or suck a cock better than most, but why are they held to such high standards.
