It seems like this could be devastating for any potential run he was considering for president
Have you even been watching the coverage? Everyone there blames climate change. No way they attribute any of this to failure of government.

If these next few years goes well.. another Democrat won’t sniff the White House for at least 12 years

Said in another thread earlier. Newsom is done on the national political stage.

Harris has actually led all potential candidates in early polling.

They'd have to go exceptionally well. But I just don't see anyone on the dem side that can challenge Vance in 28 at this point. 12 years is a long way out to make guesses like that though.

He’ll run and probably do better than Kamala, but people like Ron and JD will eat his fricking arse alive over this one.

Yeah, he really began falling into disfavour during the second half of Biden's term. Californians could no longer pretend everything was fine and they basically just stopped making excuses for Gav.

The timeline I predicted in late 2020 didn't quite play out how I expected, though parts of it did. I predicted Biden would make it 2.5 years and then be replaced by Harris, putting her in the puppet's seat for a couple years but still eligible to run for two full terms with Gavin as her VP in another stolen election. The Establishment rarely makes a huge mistake because they're typically very in-sync and proficient, but I believe they drastically underestimated exactly how insufferable and stupid Harris would portray herself to the public.

Well, Biden existed throughout his whole term. Harris did end up the nominee but not even Gavin was bold enough to commit political suicide by tethering himself to her. And the America First MAGA movement made the 2024 election absolutely too big to rig.

I believe Gavin, Shapiro and Whitmer will be the top three Democrat candidates for 2028. Gavin Doesn't worry me. Shapiro, maybe a little. Whitmer, worries me. That bitch is pure evil and she's a secular progressive's wet dream.

I dont think he would ever get more than 1% like Harris. Hes just too far left. Hes building loss after loss after loss. He may stay as governor because everyone is leaving the state (#1 for 5 years running, out of all states, for most people leaving). I dont believe even hose people arent going to suddenly turn around and vote Newsome for POTUS.

Gavin is probably the best the Dems have right now. Maybe they'll trot out some Hollywood person like The Rock.

I mean some dumb asses will do that...but they usually trace these fires back to someone not extinguishing a campfire or something. Hard to pin that on climate change.

They are too far gone. It's climate change no matter what. They could show the homeless guy lighting the mattress on fire 24/7 and during the Super Bowl and it still wouldn't matter to these freaks.

The party of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris would have no problem turning out for Gavin Newsome.

He’ll be running against LITERALLY HITLER.
