This is a benefit to Trump. His whole shtick is built around "fighting back" and representing that he is being treated unfairly.

You’re willing to reward Russia for invading a sovereign nation? Because if there’s a ceasefire Russia will solidify its gains, and never withdraw. It will also be emboldened to go back and take the rest of Ukraine.

No one has to see them if they can be referenced by other media.
Newsweek’s reputation in the 2000s was so poor that a family member I had in promotions would try to bundle a free subscription with other stuff they were giving away and get cursed out over it because no one wanted it.
