I just heard a Doug Jones Commercial followed by a Roy Moore commercial

and you know what people? People can bitch about Roy Moore all they want but here's the thing.
The Doug Jones commercial was 100% a "Roy Moore is a racist with disturbing ties" commercial. If I had never heard of Doug Jones prior to hearing that commercial I would still know nothing about Doug Jones except that he thinks Roy Moore is a racist
The Roy Moore commercial then cited the importance of a key vote on Supreme Court selections abortion and supporting Trump's agenda
Now you can think all of those are terrible issues to run on but at least Roy Moore's commercial tried to draw a political distinction between the two
And this is the problem Democrats have all of the fricking time. Their entire argument is vote for us because that other guy is a bad guy

No shite, they know they can't beat us on policy or brains, so they have to throw mud, even if it's not true.

The Jones ads that I have seen lately have been really nasty.

But, Jones is a conservative Democrat that loves the 2nd Amendment and wants to do the right thing for ALL of Alabama (and not just the 40% tit suckers that are draining our country dry).
He wants to work with Senator Shelby to take Alabama values to DC.
I've heard him say this many times so it must be true.

Yeah the one I listen to on the radio just now was pretty nasty but it also seem to complete waste of hair time
I seriously doubt there is anybody left in Alabama who could be swayed by the that's racist argument that were planning to vote for Roy Moore in the first place.
In the final analysis people tend to vote 4 people who might result in policies they want
The only people in Alabama who even give a frick about Steve Bannon who was mentioned in the commercial already are Doug Jones supporters
I keep saying that I am definitely in the wrong line of work because a lot of campaigns are way too insular
If I was running a democratic campaign the first thing I would do is shell out some money for a conservative advisor. You can find people like that too. Political Mercenaries
Same in Reverse if I was running a republican campaign.
And in general I would try to have people in my circle who thought my ideas were out to lunch in terms of campaigning
Because when you don't do that you have your own little Echo chamber that comes up with genius ideas like ignoring the blue wall States. Harping on uneducated white males. The deplorables silliness. And this race crap down here in Alabama
No one ever won an election campaigning to the amen choir

Probably paid for and/or put together by outside interests.
When Mark Begich ran for re-election here in AK, the same thing happened and he lost. Whoever put his ads together totally misunderstood Alaska

Tuesday can't come quick enough. They are playing commercials for both back to back on every radio station and Pandora.

Yup I wish I wasn't on my phone bc I'd love to analyze the same phenomenon about Hillarys awful commercials during the Cubs World Series versus Trumps great and moving commercials

I like that Moore commercial where at the end he kinda turn from the side and grins at the camera.
That's his "frick you" to the GOPe and Dems and the frickery they tried to pull saying after all that, I'm gonna win anyway.

I've seen many Moore supporters say that they are voting for Moore because Jones supports baby-killing and in that is a bad guy.
Was not a big part of Trump's campaign the argument that Hillary is a crook and a bad person so you should vote for Trump instead?
Was the ad you saw an ad from the Jones campaign or from the DNC? The ads from the political parties more tend to be attack ads which don't bother with touting the candidates assets.

What I haven’t seen discussed, and maybe I haven’t been paying enough attention, is that this is another case of the DNC throwing a ton of money at a losing cause. I hope they do it in every red state election for years to come.

That's the abortion issue an actual issue. You may not like the issue but it is an issue

If one went by how Democrats approach attracting voters you would have to assume that they think a solid approach for men trying to date women it's to say, "if you won't go out with me you must be a lesbian"
Equally effective

I heard a pretty good Moore commercial on 102.5 yesterday (Bham country station)
it started with; "you won't hear this Doug Jones ad on THIS station..."
then it played a few clips of super harsh rhetoric painting Moore as a racist & explained that this was the ad running on black radio stations
it made the point that Jones is whipping up racial tension, but was too scared to go that far in media not targeting black audiences
it was a pretty powerful commercial & will play very well in more rural areas

His problem is that he can't run talking about his positions on issues
In terms of positions he has no better than 30% support in the state
So instead he's basically relying upon scaring blacks in Mass to the polls.

Did Roy address his skills of child molestation ’and how to troll the malls for young, illegal chicks? You guys who overlook his evil like reasonable Republican politicians like Shelby who is not voting for quick
Zipper Roy, are just plain nuts to put Republican over sex crimes.
