You playing Volleyball too?

I saw that email and thought it was BS. We're getting our tests on Wednesday locally and will just bring a printout of the negative result.

By the way, players and coaches are exempt. The whole thing makes no sense and makes me want to spend $0 in New Orleans.

I hear ya. Hopefully there are other events outside of NOLA for Chad and co.

Your suggestion about fishing is probably on its way to JBE right now. Here he is.

I stopped going to NO in the 80s. I could see where it was going.
But I'd prefer to say something about NO I fondly remember in the 50s and 60s when it was still a great place.
Bourbon Street had a lot of strip joints that I did not enter but loved the signs. My favorite was advertising a lady named 'Patty Wagon'.
I was never a fan of fancy drinks with a bamboo umbrella but I had a 'Hurricane' and it was excellent.
I visited a museum with a tiny submarine. Sailors must have been very small back in the day.
I visited Jesuit H.S. It was like going to school in a museum. A lot of the teachers I talked to were Jesuit Priests. They produced more national merit scholars than any school in La. About 15 a year. They told me what a great kid Rusty Staub was.
Those were good times.

If you are under 70 you are more likely to die from homicide in Nola than Covid.

From what we were told, we just need a negative rapid test. They will look at it, give you a wristband and move on. There is no way they are going to dig into the weeds on everyone there.

Nope. Has to be done in a medical facility.

Chad. I agree with you. The place is a shite hole. However you do have options. Fake vaccination cards are everywhere and they work. Like another poster said, they are not looking hard at anything. It’s just a pain in the arse.

You may want to double check that anc. Friend of mine went to Superdome for a saints game and was turned away because his test wasn’t a PCR. They were digging in the weeds for over 60,000 at the dome.

I hope nothing but good things happen to the citizens of that city and that a plague kills the corrupt morons that infest its government and political machine.

That's because the majority of things like that are all for show so they can say "we're doing something".

It's no different than the NFL not allowing players to exchange jerseys after the game. They can breath, sweat, spit and bleed on each other for 2 hours and somehow that's not a COVID risk, but exchanging jerseys... well that's just asking to be the COVID version of Typhoid fricking Mary.

I could give a crap less about NOLA. It was shiithole under Half Moon. It was a shiithole under Nagin. It has been a worse and worse shiithole since the city opted to push conventions and tourism instead of being a center of business which made a great a prosperous city for 200+ years

here's an event this weekend that my kid on a team is committed to. i'm not happy that we didn't pull out but i have no idea if i'd be even able to test negative in a timely manner. But the whole ordeal of being able to find an antigen testing availability is a shite show. i may have to do it day of at a location, and what, if any of my family is +, i'm fricked out of watching, supporting and being a guardian of my child at the venue? Besides costing me $50 or more per test of family members needed.

Volleyball tourney?

They didn’t exactly “opt” to push tourism. The business left and it’s all in Houston and Atlanta now

And then refuse to make the city safe and let the animals run the place.

GENIUS!!!!
