It’s got to ensuring China doesn’t have a partner in South America, it’s the only worthwhile justification. If that is the case I think we should make that clear, so that everyone knows the rules.

Ask Chevron who lost billions.

Ask all the landowners who lost everything to this pig.

Ask all the US educated professionals who could never go home.

We won, in record time. War starts, war over, we win. 8 minute war. We have the best wars ever, folks.

Thank you for asking the logical, sensible, rational, reasonable questions all....er...I mean some of us have.

quote:

I'm willing to listen if there is a rational case that can be made for why we are doing this.

I understand that we want to damage the cartels. Will this regime-change action get us any closer to accomplishing that goal? If so, how? I need that to be explained to me.

No rational case can be made for this sudden out of the blue military flexing. This op is nonsense.

IF the claim was serious, our embedded domestic cartels (via Meh-hee-co and Chy-na) would have already been detected and well under siege

Let's also understand the psy-language: "Cartels" = Evil Bogeyman threat. Whether Iraq. Iran. Russia. The fabricated ME Islamic "militant" groups.

"Stopping the cartels' flow of drugs" is barely plausible and obviously very bad cover for "regime-change" and an excuse to spill blood and "break things". Oh. And to distract and misdirect us from other unresolved domestic messes.

Whether "Drug" cartels, Oil cartels, "Pro-National" or Free-Speech cartels /groups, the O-Lords need to quash independent sovereigns like bugs as an example. In other words, if there's going to be any "cartel" THEY will co-opt , control and be it. THAT is their default "goal" of everything.

quote:

I'm aware that Venezuela is an oil-rich country. Does this action in any way benefit our domestic producers? If so, how? Is this action something they have been pushing for?

Another good question.

Corporate Big (Rockefeller) Oil considers itself own sovereign, a lever of sock-puppet control since the early 1900s. "Venezuela" (or any resource-rich nation) and their duly elected officials are just in the way.

quote:

we're always told that we should "follow the money." Who benefits the most financially from this action? Defense contractors is the obvious answer, but are their other involved parties making profit from this?

You mostly answered your own question, but never also underestimate the overlords' hate of the serfs and compulsion for spilling blood as a ritual sacrifice to their god.

Is that what it was?
We did not take out the Defense Minister, VP, etc.

I can accept that, sir.

However, the same can be said of Potato.

And the same of the so-called leaders of:

Canada. UK. Australia. Germany. Brazil. Ewe-Kraine.

Ironically, the "leader" of the entire EU was also NOT "elected" by the people.

H i was a dictator. He's an authoritarian and head of a cartel

(The above also can be said to fall into that very same category)

The real positive to me as I’ve thought about Venezuela recently is that toppling that government sets back China’s plans to increase its influence in the western hemisphere. China has announced that causing the US to defend its interests in the west is part of its plan to take over Taiwan. Venezuela’s largest oil buyer is China. Moving Venezuela into the US orbit hurts china.
