Those are "high powered" rifles.

I'm amazed at the pussies who are terrified of firearms.

I agree

But I am equally amazed at the fricking losers that are obsessed with having 100 firearms and jacking off to their "arsenal" in case an army invades

If gun control didn't pass after Sandy Hook, the war is already won/lost, depending on your side

You know nothing about me.

If you make stupid posts, I'm going to make fun of you. It's sort of my thing.

Just enough to know what was in store for me as a field grade. Which is why I bailed.

What makes a 5.56 high powered and a .308 not high powered?

ar-15 for home defense?

Yep. My 10” AR close to my bed, bolt locked back, with mag hidden near by in a location only I know about. Loaded with green tips.

well I've got my bennelli m3, and 1911 within reach.

Different strokes I suppose. I was never really hating on an ar. I just prefer what I have strictly for home protection.

In my case it's because it's what I'm comfortable with and was trained on.

I damn sure better have gotten something out of doing ready up drills during CQM for hours on end on the range at Benning.

That might have something to do with it. I grew up around trap competitions and bird hunting. Shotguns have always felt more natural to me.
