If you want to go that route, shotguns are as well. The AR 15 is incredibly impractical for home defense and really not necessary. Knowing how to effectively use a handgun works better, especially in close quarters.

I can say with no qualms I have never gotten a HMMWV stuck. But I have seen one of my counterparts do it
