They either allow drilling or they don't. Laws cannot be bypassed by changing the name or something. That's ridiculous.
Where did this insane idea get cooked up?
Trump should be able to cancel any moratorium that Biden instituted. But some name change is not the way to do it. The law is either valid or it's not.

My first guess is that it's just a troll. But there's just no chance in hell that a name change sidesteps regulations. There aren't enough 6 year olds on the federal bench for that to fly.

Right. It's either a valid law/regulation or it's not. Changing the name of something doesn't get around that.

what he is saying is that there are laws passed by biden banning drilling in the gulf of mexico..
to bypass that, orange man is renaming it gulf of america so he can authorize drilling of oil..

It dont work that way... Its the same body of water.
Its also international. The great thing about the name change is that its more inclusive. South America, Central America and Canada were left out prior.
It was nice of trump to name it after two continents.
