Trump kinda destroyed them during the campaign.
I mean the Zodiac killer thing was pretty ridiculous.
But they have largely been rock solid in the Senate

No conservative has ever exceeded my respect for Ted Cruz. He is THE man!
Rubio.. I could criticize a few things, sure... but all in all... he is absolutely way more of an ally to the good side than anything else.

Cruz is a professional and actually has conservative values. He probably understands that Trump’s comments, as absurd as they were, weren’t meant in a personal way. Whatever animus he has takes a back seat to advancing the country.

Well this is because the very idea that a Senator would cast his vote on anything based on his personal opinion of the President rather than actual principles is something right out of kindergarten.
That's why the whole, "well, Trump had the McCain vote coming" argument was so lame.
Because seriously? You'd change your actual opinion on health care policy just because your fricking feelings were hurt?
