I for one don't think they'll be able to replace him... I also do hope they try just to see the absolute chaos that will unfold..

Nobody that is better with any sense would want to step in right now against all the current red momentum.

The media and white Democrats have gone all in on getting him out ASAP! But everything coming from the Biden circle has been adamant he isn't leaving. He's responding by getting all of those colored people behind him (black caucus, Hispanic caucus). You know, those people he used to lifeguard and march with.
If he doesn't leave, you're looking at a convention where the media and most the Democrats will be forced to pretend they haven't been throwing bombs at him for two months. Of course, they are very, very, good at pretending actual events didn't happen and have ZERO sense of hypocrisy. But even they may not be able to walk back the attacks they are spewing now.
They are running out of time to let him voluntarily exit with grace. If he doesn't, they will have to "fire" him. How they do so will be interesting to watch.

I think Jill Biden is like Mrs. Jack "Cap" Rooney in Any Given Sunday. Jack is ready to call it quits due to health, but she's not ready to give up her status as an active pro quarterback's wife.

Maybe they’ll do that then Kamala can be the first black woman pres for three months. Get that shite out the way.

Hope you’re right. DOCTOR Jill is negotiating with the Democrat money men as we speak. It all depends upon how sweet the pot becomes.
Is there any money worth the humiliation of being forced out by your own party?

Biden is done. The writing is on the wall and this time next week we will be discussing the new candidates. The Democrats party is imploding and I'm damn well enjoying it.

And if Joe objects, which he would, then BOTH Houses of Congress have to vote to make her acting president. If I am the Republican House, I would have no part of it.

When the DNC reaches the right dollar amount offer.....he will leave.

Remember that this happened in 1972 when McGovern replaced his VP nominee. A vote for McGovern-Eagleton was a vote for McGovern-Shriver. It doesn't really matter since in every state you vote for Party Electors pledged to the Party nominees and the RNC and the DNC can replace them if one or more of them resigns from the ticket. So I don't think it really matters about what names are on the ballot.
And it only matters in the Swing States as there are 30+ Republican states and about 10 Democrat states. We can phone in most of those electoral votes right now.

Never heard of that before. She's next in line in succession so why would they have to "vote" her in?

Under the 25th Amendment, if the VPOTUS and at least eight of 15 Cabinet Secretaries declare the POTUS to be unable to perform his duties, the VP becomes Acting POTUS. (The POTUS can only be removed permanently and involuntarily via the impeachment and removal process.)
If Biden then declares himself "healed", he resumes his duties unless, again, the VPOTUS and eight of 15 Secretaries disagree. In that case, 2/3 of both Houses of Congress have to concur that he is unable to perform his duties; otherwise, he resumes office. If they do not, then she remains Acting POTUS until either he can resume office, or the next inauguration.

When folks say his candidacy is on the skids, that's not what they are talking about.

They could invoke the 25th amendment then tell him they already had the election and he lost .
Would he really know any different ?
