This may be one of the dumbest things I've ever read. Decisions based on emotion, rarely work out well.

Yep. There have been plenty of times I’ve typed an email at work that I walked away from, came back and re-read it, and deleted it or re-worded it to sound more professional.

Also, that and avoiding the question about packing the court showed me Biden is going to fold to radicalism.

I wish Trump would have just continued to hammer this. His best points were just that; you might say you are different than these generally accepted liberal ideas, you might say you “are the Democratic Party”, but all of the momentum is against you. You will be bullied by Congress and the twitter mob and you will sign any POS leftist bill that happens to get to your desk.

When it comes to Trump, I have to take substance over style. I can't stand to listen to him, but his policies work for me. You have to view Trump as a concept, not a person.

Wallace should have badgered and forced Biden to denounce ANTIFA

He didn't because he agreed with him.

I don’t care how good or bad someone debates. I know Trump has gotten things done I never expected any president of any party to do. Eliminating critical race theory from Govt institutions solidified my support for him. Never thought someone would stand up to get rid of that shite.

Trump is the clear best choice regardless of how he acts. I only care about what he does and what he will do

that wasn't even the most obvious sign

he says he isn't for the Green New Deal, then seconds later is adamantly defending it, then goes back to "oh wait, sorry, that's not my plan" lol

Biden and Wallace represented the evilness (crooked politicians and crooked media) whom have been hammering Trump for four years. Hell yes he opened up both guns on them given the chance. MAGA!!!!

Reagan

May be the most polished politician in our lifetime. Wonder how much acting had in helping him with that. I actually think it helped tremendously.

But politics have changed a lot since then. It's definitely more visceral and aggressive now, along with our media and society.

This poses a question... is this shitshow we call American politics a result of our society becoming bigger and more vocal assholes?

Not thinking too highly of myself, but this may be a good topic to discuss.. what got us here?

If it took you this long to choose between these two polar opposites youre not gonna vote anyway, you cant choose between anything, November 4th will arrive and youll still be staring at a jacket wondering if itll be cold outside the polling location

I agree. Anyone that waited for the debate to make up their mind has not paid attention to politics for the last few years.

Unfortunately, a lot of people vote based on emotion, and not reason or logic.

I lived in NYC for a little over 3 years. He just has the prototypical NYC "take no sh!t" attitude. It was one of the reasons I was for Cruz in 2016. But, I've come to realize that he's going to ruffle a lot of feathers because that's what he needs to do to survive -- and always has.

The THING I've really come to appreciate about his attitude is that UNLIKE ALMOST EVERY F*CKING REPUBLICAN THAT HAS COME DOWN THE POLITICAL PIKE SINCE REAGAN -- he's a fighter and doesn't give ONE ROYAL F*CK about what the mainstream media thinks of him. Both the Bushes and EVERY F*CKING NATIONAL REPUBLICAN POLITICIAN has kissed the a$$ of every mainstream journalist hoping that if they "played ball" that the MSM would come to like them. They didn't realize that that would NEVER F*CKING HAPPEN because these journalists hate all Republicans to their f*cking core. But, these pussy Republican politicians just kept doing it.

Trump is a f*cking FIGHTER. He tells them on a daily basis to kiss his arse and then lick his ball. He doesn't give a f*ck what they think of him -- OR US.

You sound rational. Good for you. Re racism response, etc., consider the following:

Wallace asked Trump to denounce white supremacists AND militias.

Compound nature of Wallace's question was intended to conflate "militia groups" with white supremacist group.

Militia =/= white supremacist group.

Proud Boys =/= white supremacist group.

Trump's reference to PB =/= endorsement of or "dog whistle" to white supremacist group.

all this. i think they threw Trump for a loop by putting Proud Boys in the 'white supremacy' category, which made him pause. If they would've said KKK, you wouldve heard immediate denouncing. but since Proud Boys aren't white supremacies, im sure it caused a problem for Trump

For me it was the “We gotta keep it closed down” nonsense.
