Bull shite study. There's no way it caused more deaths given the study boom Brazil showed it greatly reduced hospitalization.

This study has been debunked already. It only looked at patients who were already in critical condition. The treatment works better if you get it before you are in ICU. It helps prevent the severe symptoms. Once you get the severe symptoms the damage is already done

Absolutely anecdotal. Need prospective data.

This study also doesn't say what was the criteria for giving HCQ and AZith. Was it only given to patients who were in severe decline and this was last recourse. If that was the case the 28% death might be expected and low values on standard care would also be expected.

Which is really strange that they’d be submitting it to the NEJM.

The study found it leads to more deaths,

only a libtard would say or believe this

numerous doctors say it worked for their patients...

it depends on when the drug is given...

if you are short breathe, you have big problems...

literally, I don't believe this study....

why would doctors like on youtube?

Something tells me, that most of these patients were already in very bad shape to begin with, else they wouldn't be in the VA Hospital.

I only know the stats for one VA hospital, Charleston, SC. We’ve had ONE patient positive for COVID-19, and that was a psychiatric inpatient. Wasn’t even there because of the Kung Flu.

About as useful as giving speech therapy to a brain dead North Korean dictator.

It is one study, you need to wait on pronouncement either way. An analysis of the background of the patients that died. Everyone will need to wait for the clinical study.

Very high external validity. Treat all patients with covid19 symptoms and 4% fewer will need hospitalization. Yes I think it’s better.

Well from what I’ve read the concerning side affect (cardiac) of both those meds is additive so it would seem like If given to the wrong type of patient then it’s not a harmless drug

It doesnt say they were additive

It says more than twice the people taking just hydro died

And it says twice the people taking just a Z-Pac died

Yet other studies show it is effective. Aren't Italy and France using it?

“Study finds more patients that had a defibrillator used on them died than patients who did not.”

Coming soon to a journal near you.

I know a woman who works at The VA Hospital in Alexander City, Al.
According to her, they've got a few cases, and had a couple of deaths.

I don't know if I really believer though.

If it leads to more deaths, certainly we should try something else.

But, I don't blame doctors who were prescribing it based on the evidence that existed.
