It's not about going hungry. For these a$$holes it's the lavish lifestyles that they are going to miss. Now they'll have to live like everyone else. No more selling Joe for money.

It's Joe and Jill's ego and arrogance that got them in this situation. He should have just stayed retired and he would have been remembered as a Democrat elder statesman and maintained a nice cushy retirement. I believe he can’t access the money he needs without revealing offshore accounts that have been funded by foreign governments, and businesses aligned with foreign governments, for years.
