The USA will now try a coup/assassination. CIA is already hard at work.

Hungary can then not send €200 M in taxes to the EU. This is the way

But I would think that this is "clearly " the opposite. Hungary is saying we'd rather have our sovereignty than your (EU) "benefits"
Then why not leave?

Your idea of costs of membership is
That's how the EU is choosing to handle this.
Again, if those costs are too much, Hungary can leave.

Explain to us why the E.U. is forcing migration on countries that clearly don't want it.
I don't know, and for the purposes of this discussion it's irrelevant.
That's how the EU is handling this and Hungary is in violation of the rules of the organization they voluntarily agreed to join.

They keep it up and maybe some will leave, peacefully, or not.

I imagine it's not long until the EU starts to remove EU benefits, and looks into if they can expel member states.
They wont expell anybody, then they couldnt control them at all. They'll just threaten and take away things from Hungary to try to make them capitulate.

Good for Hungary
Hope they stick to their guns. Selling out leads to more dysfunction.

Can you or someone outline why accepting certain numbers of non European immigrants is a EU requirement?
I don't know and it's irrelevant to this discussion.

Well they can like the UK. In their case the will of the people to crack down on immigration was why they left, but since them voting to leave the immigration numbers have gotten worse and worse. Why is this? Can anyone actually explain it?
Different type of immigrant.
The UK didn't like the eastern Europeans (like Hungarians) coming into the UK to undercut British workers. That was a major issue of Brexit.
These new immigrants are a completely different type/issue.

Buck Frussels. They are stupidly trying to destroy Western civilization by importing hordes of incompatible migrants.

I don’t know why the Missouri compromise was so contentious, but for the purposes of the discussion South Carolina should just secede

They can't. There was a war over that.
As I said, ITT, the UK just showed that it's fully legal for Hungary to withdraw from the EU.

Hungary is too irrelevant to have the luxury of being so present in America’s psyche to risk moves like this
So they leave, and if not sanctioned automatically by the US and EU, they will be as soon as they turn to their only other options for trade. They know this, everyone knows it
So again, why is immigration being forced on countries to the point they are facing these kind of decisions that we obviously don’t want to happen? It has to be worth a tremendous amount to somebody, who is that and why?
And no I’m not saying it’s the Jews, this is not about them.

So you're saying they enjoy the benefits of the EU? I already said that.

You already basically agreed that Hungary would be sanctioned if they left. Why is that?

Hungary can leave the EU
Get their own currency and peg it to the US dollar

No I didn't.
I said the EU is a better trading partner than their alternatives, which is why they do all of this without a hint of threatening to leave.
Hence, they enjoy the benefits of EU membership but not the costs.
Which has been what I have said this entire thread.

There was a war over that.
That war only reinforced the age old adage that might makes right.
It didn't settle the secession question.
We finally settled it by signing into the U.N. Charter which officially recognizes the right of self-determination of peoples.
