Had they sent a cruise missile barrage against the power and comms grids on day 1 as an opening salvo, they would have taken Kiev.

It was either incompetence on the part of the Russian high command or an inability to do that for lack of precision guided weapons. The Russian general staff had no doubt studied how the United States and her allies overran Iraq in the 1990-91 Persian Gulf War. They started by launching precision/air strikes against Iraqi radar sites to blind them to the incoming shock and awe our naval and air forces were about to unleash, then hit their SAM sites, and then went for their power grid. The Iraqi high command was powerless to initiate effective command and control within a matter of minutes.

Has to be incompetence. We’re seeing them rely on cruise missiles heavily now.

Russia should have blown his plane to bits in the middle of the ocean after he left Washington.

Probably not even in the country and moving around a lot for such an eventuality.

Fake News-dis/misinformation. When he came and spoke in front of Congress we were told by all in the MSM it was the first time he had left Ukraine since it all started. And I believe it...

This is often repeated, but what does it mean? Tattoos? Patches? Emblems? Obviously, it’s much deeper than that and the core beliefs and practices of Nazism are well known, including

1. dictatorship without a parliamentary system
2. antisemitism
3. racism and eugenics
4. anti-communism

Except for number 4, Russia scores pretty high on this quiz.

What’s y’all’s take on why this is a war between Godless Nazis and the good guys?

Why did Russia even launch this war? There was no reason for them to go into Ukraine.
