Mass public executions, preceded by killing every protestor in sight, pretty easy answer. They also executed people not for the deprivation of life but the infliction of suffering. Death wasn’t the sentence, the pain before death was.

Assaulting officers, breaking glass windows, throwing huge rocks onto incoming federal ICE vehicles, etc are acceptable forms of protesting??

If you’re asking how historical societies would have handled this in their prime, then the answer is simple. They would kill them all in a painful way and display the bodies as a deterrent for future rebellion. Obviously we aren’t an historical society with little to no rights where that type of retaliation would be seen as normal.

So, we should just round them up, deport the noncitizens and charge the citizens for the crimes they committed. The problem is if we allow people to get away with this type of behavior it will only escalate in the future.
