Quit watching the propaganda news and live your life. Ukraine will agree to his wishes about NATO, and this will be over within two weeks.

I was headed to Friedrichshafen, Germany in 6 weeks. I’m guessing not now.

As a Gen-Xer, this feels like my teenage years all over again. I have the sudden urge to drive a Porsche 944 and bang blondes with Farrah Fawcett hair.

Don't worry. Fauci says if you triple mask you can't get dead from nuclear war.

We grew up with this threat, and it was every single day, for years

We're doomed regardless of anything that happens here. A lot of people have known on some level, the prepping trend, disaster and zombie movie popularity. We're supposed to be the most advanced and rational we've ever been but civil war talk, revolution talk, end of the world talk is higher in the last few years than it's been since the 1960s. More people than ever seem to sense in some way that everything's about to get blown up or collapse all at once. The really unfortunate alternative that sits in front us is this slow decay piece by piece, the forest unnoticed for the trees, continuous fracturization of society down into madness and despair, erasure of culture and tradition and values, theft of opportunity and wealth until we grind down into just some formless poor miserable angry blob. And nobody wants that and that's why even the liberals love The Road and zombie movies and stuff because deep down even they would rather have it all blow up than the obvious future that sits in front of us.

Nope. Unless someone here was school age in 1962 things have never been this tense with a nuclear power.

1/10. No way it goes nuclear unless Putin truly has lost his shite. And even then, there’s a chance someone would take him out before they’re launched.

Well, Russia is making moves on the nuclear front and we have a vegetable for POTUS, the intellectual equivalent of Cardi B as Veep, and the Chief of Staff thinks having trannies in military is a good thing.

What’s the worst that could happen?

I had a marine detachment escort my school bus to kindergarten (international school of Bangkok). And a British unit took us to school in 4th grade (orange free state South Africa). I had a baseball assistant coach catch a pungi stick looking for baseballs we had hit over a no go fence. This ain’t shite.

I’m worried that Russia will continue its onslaught. Don’t see nukes in the table though
