The biggest adjustment was space. I took them to New Braunfels TX to visit a mutual friend and the drive just blew their mind. They had no idea it was that big. I didn't expect that.
Everything else once they changed their Rands over was no issue. But a 8 hr. trip with only crossing one state border became a story of legend to them.

It's both. We want to actually control who gets in. You guys didn't, you wanted limitless, unchecked immigration (and you succeeded).
Most of us do want some immigration, and most of us probably feel the need to counterbalance your limitless, scattershot flooding of the country with migrants by bringing in people who can contribute and who want to be here and build here and celebrate our values.
But yes, of course we want pro-Western Dutch reformed Christian families who value education and work ethic to come here. Why wouldn't we?
Since we're being honest with each other, why don't you own up to the fact that you don't like bringing in white people with family-centric, western mindsets?
