Well, it's not DU. I consider it a smaller version of patriots.win with a handful of libs and more DeSantis support.

Big enough that the globalist/communist pay pencil-dick trolls to post misinformation.

https://freerepublic.com isn't what it used to be. It was huge in the old days.

I think gettr, truthsocial, gab and even the pathetic twitter, reddit and facebook have all grabbed huge shares of political discussion.

It's funny they are talking about "muh death threats" on there when this is a popular meme on leftists groups I follow on FB:

The SEC rant made an appearance on TOSH. He made fun of it for a few minutes and moved on.

Anyone know whatever happened to Conservative Underground? It just up and vanished after the election and had been around for years. Google search turns up nothing. It’s like it never existed.

I bet you they all post on r/politics. You talk about a brain dead commie site. They’d give DU a run for their money.

Every time I log into this site it seems like it’s the same twenty or so posters doing most of the posting. It changes overtime and definitely gets busier when big political stories are in the news, but in general it’s the same loud posters over and over.

Also consider message boards are dinosaurs in the realm of the internet. I like the familiarity of them but I’m also damn near 50 years old.

Reddit is the largest message board in the world unfortunately.

The left's belief that they occupy the high ground is a fantasy.

Weird.

Are social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, tiktok, Reddit, etc also dinosaurs in the realm of the internet?

After all, all of these websites are also filled with single digit percentage of users that do the hyper majority of posting.

It’s almost like that’s how the internet works. Single digit percentage of users actually contribute regularly, while the rest sit and watch.

That has zero to do with the layout or age or style of tigerdroppings and everything to do with human nature.

Reddit is great for specific hobbies and interests but it’s awful for political discourse. It’s dominated by younger college educated types making it a liberal echo chamber. At least that’s my experience

I think you’re being a bit disingenuous here hippie. The same 10% start a large majority of threads many long time high count post people like me don’t start threads often but post in them often.

Somehow the comments on that Reddit post are all about child porn.

Maybe. I don’t come on here much during the week, typically only weekends. Just too busy during the work week. So maybe my perspective is slanted.
