Adding more than 1 ticket doesn't really move the needle enough to bother with.

Meh, I'm just saying don't waste your money buying lottery tickets if you want to complain about the high price of food and gas.
If you do it makes you look like a fool which is what you are if you buy lottery tickets hoping you are going to win.
I understand the cheap thrill people get when they buy a lottery ticket thinking they have a chance to win millions of dollars but they should really only buy a ticket if they can afford to lose money because that is what is going to happen 99.9% of the time.

I'm not referring to people who buy only one ticket.
I'm referring to people who spend a significant amount of their money buying lottery tickets especially when the prize money gets high.

Hell no!!! I don't spend any money on lottery tickets or gambling period.
I learned my lesson about gambling with my hard earned money in 1966 after I lost $10 to my friend playing gin rummy for $1 a hand and lost 10 straight hands.

Just kidding. I can count the number of lottery tickets I've purchased in my 66 years on earth on my two hands.
The only times I've ever bought a ticket was when the prize gets above $100 million.

I bought $20 of scratch offs to include with Christmas presents last year. I had some left over so o scratched them off and won $50!

c. I've never purchased a lottery ticket.
These are my excuses when I tell people I've spent $72K at Starbucks in my life.
