We survived it once already without issue. I'm confident we can do it again.
Let's just say a person would have better placed confidence in using an umbrella to break a 40-story fall.

You really have no clue.
Russia after breaking numerous agreements involving Ukraine invades and you believe Ukraine should stop defending themselves because Russia says they will stop fighting IF..,
No competent leader in Ukraine could cut that deal, a deal that would inevitably lead to Russia taking over Ukraine by force.

I have asked this multiple times in this thread with no response, so I'll give it another try:
Based on your concerns, is there ever a behavior or set of behaviors Russia can engage in to justify a response?
It seems that the fact that Russia has nukes and claims they will use them would create a red line in every situation.

Well that's for sure Russia losing

No, literally every article that discussed Johnson's visit in April talked about that stipulation.

SFP is largely a solid poster but there is a vein of surprising flippancy that runs through him on some major issues that compromises his views and it is coupled with a bit of arrogance that precludes him from further and full self examination and introspection.
But he’s always good for a conversation.

Do you know what the Minsk Agreements are?
Don’t google it before replying.

Your tacit endorsement of money laundering of taxpayer dollars via "aid" to Ukraine must be a kind of Stockholm Syndrome high water mark.

We literally dealt with Russian-led areas denuclearize previously.
shite, and somewhat ironically, if that had gone slightly different (and Ukraine kept its nukes), Russia for sure wouldn't be invading today
Having to do this again, with a much stronger international community than in the 90s, isn't scary to me.

My concern is if he's this taken by the news propaganda cesspool, normal folks have no chance.

Think carefully about what the next question is.

Russia has nukes.
Russia will always threaten to use nukes if its traditional military starts to fail.
So, given that as an absolute, EVERY scenario involving Russian aggression will lead to a threat of Russia using nukes?
Since this is your primary concern, is there ever a justification for responding to Russian aggression, considering any successful response puts nukes on the table.

Because Russia would be too big of pussies to do anything to them in that instance. They wouldn't be acting like the paper tiger they are.

Shocking considering the only news I read is posted on this board, and it's not exactly Pro-Ukraine around here

It only takes once.

Exactly, which means we should never, under any circumstance, oppose any aggression by Russia.
It only takes once, you know.

And to avoid a conflated gotcha: I will be upset if Russia uses nukes. It will make them an even bigger evil party than I could imagine. Since we're on that topic, since Russia will always threaten using nukes, is there ever a legitimate reason to oppose any actions of Russia? North Korea? China? Iran?
I seriously doubt if 5% of America First patriots care who prevails in the Russia/Ukraine shite show….we’re pissed off because were literally pissing away tens of billions of taxpayer money fighting a proxy war that doesn’t benefit street level Americans.

quote:Sooo ... to be clear ... You think because Russia has Nukes and Ukraine doesn't, that Russia would use Nukes against Ukraine?
Because Russia would be too big of pussies to do anything to them in that instance.
They'd do that because they assume the US and NATO "would be too big of pussies to do anything to them"?
Do I have that right?
