You think the American people armed with hunting rifles and AR-15s could stand up to the US Military with all the current combat technology available at their disposal?

It's almost as if there was a concerted effort to create an arms gap between the general population and the US military....

In a boots on the ground situation I say without a doubt. Look at Russia in Ukraine and realize that territory is about the size of texas. There isn’t a military on the planet that could rival the armed populace of The USA. This isn’t lines of redcoats this would be guerilla warfare on a scale never seen before.

Who is organizing the American people to fight and what for? Some of you should become fiction writers, could easily sell ads on Fox News and make bank

Again...The US would lose a majority of its military. They won't fight their own citizens, especially over gun rights. Most are gun owners and staunch 2A supporters. So yeah...I am taking gun owners over what would be left of the military

Again, what would be the reason people would go to war and fight and die over today? Or is this totally hypothetical? Our grandfathers would look at how we live today and shake their heads at how easy we have it, not sure many people are willing to give up this cush lifestyle to fight over something pretty arbitrary from what I have gathered, as no one has been able to give a legitimate reason and seems more like some weird fantasy

It would be a death knell for our country as well as for democracies world wide. Why give our opponents an opportunity to swoop in and pick up the pieces. Domination by others will not be a pleasant future. Better to strive for competent leadership, a return to values and an end once and for all to so much of the bullshite that the current administration seems bent on.

You assume that every member of the military would follow unlawful orders OR direct violations to the US Constitution.

During the COVID man made pandemic, my local and county (parish) LEO leaders put out statements that any mandates would not be enforced.

You are a damn fool. Doing that would invite retribution on a scale you can't begin to imagine. WTF is wrong with you.

Do you care to present an argument, or just do what the vast majority of Leftist do when they come on this Board? Call names and split the scene as the name calling has zero rational power. Rational and HONEST dialogue is the key to nonviolent problem solving. I don’t think that is possible in today’s paradigm of ‘confirmation bias’ and ‘cognitive dissonance’. Self delusion is lethal. Good luck in exploring life and creating your ‘Self’.

At this point, it may be the only choice if the election fraud continues.

We have the #’s in legal votes, and if they don’t allow a free voting system to work,

It’s either:

A. Bend over and kiss this country and freedoms goodbye & welcome the policies of China & Venezuala

Or

B. Stand up & Fight! And if we stand together in a unified movement, nothing can stop the largest army on the planet

Things will have to get waaaay worse for folks to risk their relative comforts.

Fortunately, we still have some mechanisms that can be used to legally and politically fight back against tyranny. People still aren’t involved enough in local politics and boards where all this woke shite comes from.

Once that’s exhausted we may have no choice and it becomes a question of survival. It won’t be a civil war so much as citizens against the political apparatus.

I’ll probably activate my escape plan long before this happens.

Honest dialog?? From you?
Yeah, sure. That means you make a declaration and anyone that doesn't agree is dismissed.

One hell of an enemy and a great weapon, but I still think we can overcome it again the ones in the military that would try and fight us are not the ones I’m worried about…everyone is a badass until the bullets start flying and guerilla warfare is also one hell of a weapon.

The largest obstacle the government would have trying to shut down a civil war would be the insurgency. I am not meaning the fighters but the sabotage that average people could do to infrastructure. Many of the "insurgents" would be the red state working class people.

A guy who works at a refinery knows how to frick things up so that the plant is inoperable. A railroad worker knows what switches and bridges to damage to shut rail down. The list goes on... water\sewer treatment plants, electric providers.

If a civil war starts those things will have the greatest impact. When people in cities (who are usually more liberal) have no power, water and grocery stores are empty they will riot and the government will have their hands full with them.

I hope we dont have a civil war but if we do I expect 10's of millions to die. If it is a prolonged war it could get to 100 million when you add in the people who stave to death, die of dysentery and cholera.
