re: How many of you have liberal family members?

Immediate family : NONE
In-laws : NONE
Extended family: none confirmed but there are 2 possibilities. I have a cousin who is a college professor and married to an attorney but I’ve never heard either say or post anything political. Have another cousin who is the daughter of a college professor and is big into pet rescue and I’ve never heard her say or post anything political either. I think at the worse they’d be left of center but not the bat-crap crazy version.

Do have a conservative 90 year old uncle with severe TDS, though

Let me guess, you think socialism just hasn’t been done correctly yet? LOL, keep pushing it brother. If a hundred plus million deaths in the 20th century can’t convert you to capitalism nothing will.

I have a few. My Son being one of them. He’s become pretty radicalized in the last few years. I also have a niece who has been like a daughter to me that went to law school and came out the back side as a complete progressive a-hole. It ruined her. She has had major blowups with several of her elder relatives. I finally cut her off and clocked her after she tore into me one day.

Life is too short to let these people bully you and ruin special occasions. I just exclude them.

Fortunately none of my blood relatives are liberal. I would not have married the seed of liberals, because my peace is precious and I don’t want my blood line contaminated.

A couple but they are good folks -- we enjoy ourselves when together, which means not wasting our time on subjects that are black holes
